Food Relief & Family Support

The Hope For Kids Haiti team is now providing daily meals to children sheltering in safe locations and distributing food to families affected by the gang invasions and violence. What was once a weekend activity has become a daily effort for volunteers.

Signs of Stability & School Reopening

While the situation remains uncertain, many families have returned to their homes, and residents report feeling safer than they did several months ago. Some parents have returned while keeping their children in safer locations until conditions stabilize.

Several schools in the region have reopened, and some Hope For Kids Haiti sponsored students have returned to class. However, attendance remains lower than normal as many families are still displaced.

Looking Ahead

July will be an important month as our team evaluates if it will offer a summer program for the children. Staff will meet to assess what can be done safely and effectively.
