Who We Are — Our Story

Hope for Kids Haiti is a Christian ministry serving vulnerable children in Seguin, Haiti.

We operate locally as:

  • Ministère des Chrétiens d'Haïti (MCH) – official registered Haitian ministry
  • Restoration Children's Ministry (RCM) – local children-focused ministry identity
  • Hope for Kids Haiti – our Canadian-facing fundraising and partner identity

Though the names reflect different stages of growth, the mission has always been the same:

Interrupt hardship. Restore hope. Transform futures.

How It Started

Yves & Stacey first met in Haiti in June of 2013.

Stacey and two of his children – who are Haitian born – came for a business and fun trip so the kids could visit their birth country.

While visiting the area around the city of Jacmel, Stacey visited coffee farms and mango farms to explore business potential for his company in Canada.

By the end of 2013, Yves and Stacey had struck up a strong connection on Facebook and things have kept on getting stronger ever since. It's gone something like this . . .
